"Home is where the heart is"
hmm...an interesting saying. I honestly don't necessarily agree with this statement. I have been thinking about this today.

Home is generally where you are most comfortable, correct? where you feel warm, cozy and secure? Well I honestly believe that our hearts should not be where we are the most comfortable. Our hearts should be where we are stretched and where we have to fully rely on God.

I don't know if I am interpreting this saying wrong or what. But that is what I got out of it. Take or leave it.

What are your thoughts?

I think we should always fully rely on God, whether we are stretched or not. However, being humans, some of the only times we realize this is when we are stretched. Our hearts should be with God always, but we're stupid and human.

I don't think comfort is always a bad thing. I think I should be able to rest and find comfort in God's love.
But I don't think I should be complacent or apathetic. That would be a detrimental attitiude to have.
