I need your words...

I am doing a project at my Graphic Design school. I am creating a website that explains the lives of the TCBC staff. So could you answer a few things for me?

1) Describe the relationships of the staff at TCBC.

2) What is the best thing about TCBC?

3) Why do you devote your whole summer there?

5) Describe the essentials you need to have to be a part of the staff (Physical, emotional, and spiritual)

1. You make the best and closest friends you will ever have working at camp. You can talk to them about anything, and always get a God-centered response.

2. The relationships and the growth that you experience each summer.

3. Because I love the Lord with all of my heart and want to serve him with all that I do, and to grow in my faith.

4. You have to be willing to partake in physical exertion, no matter what your position on staff may be. You have to be there for other staff members as well as your campers (if you're on counseling staff). Most importantly, you have to love the Lord and live a life that honors Him.

I would love to see this website when you are finished.

Ohh, fun.

1. Ditto of what Spork said. You probably won't become fast friends with the whole staff but when you do bond with people it is a very tight bond. Friendships are usually found between postions but there are almost always exceptions to that rule. (I guess it's not much of a rule then.)
2.The relationships built around service for God and the chance to pour out your life to God for a summer. (And hopefully from that come into a habit of doing it all the time.)
3. See above.
4. You will need to be physically capable to operate in a sometimes high stress environment but more importantly be able to draw on your relationship with God for strength and not physical reserves. It can (more like will) be emotionally draining just because of the efforts mentioned above, but that is why you are drawing from your relationship with God in the first place. Some jobs are more draining physically than others, same spiritually, but all will probably tax you as a whole more than most things ever done up to that point.

There are my two cents. It isn't easy but why should it be?
